Yanini was born in 1997. She started studying the violin at the age of 8 with Maren Tancke. She then went to study at Aum-Aree Music School with Prakit and Juris Madrevich when she was 11 years old until she finished high school. She was a member of PYO 2nd, 3rd and 5th season and member of Mahidol Pop Orchestra in 2014. She graduated high school from Pre-college of Music, Mahidol University in 2015. In the same year she entered the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Ensemble Competition (PGVIEC) in the category of Large Ensemble under the name of Salaya Chamber Orchestra and won the 1st prize.

Yanini attended masterclasses with Akihiro Miura and Prof.Elizabeth Weber in 2016. She was also selected as a representative of Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music to perform in Lübeck Musikhochschule at Lübeck, Germany. In 2017 she was selected to be a part of an orchestra for the royal cremation ceremony of King Rama IX.

Yanini is a third year student at Princess Galyani Vadhana institute of music. She studied with Prof.Pisoot Saay-op- oua, Prof.Sittichai Pengcharoen and currently studies with Prof.Margaret Hayne Kim.

ญาณินี พงศ์ภคเธียร เริ่มเรียนไวโอลินตอนอายุ 8 ปีกับ Maren Tancke หลังจากนั้นได้ย้ายไปเรียนกับ อ.Juris Madrevich ตอนอายุ 11 ปี จนได้เข้าไปรับการศึกษาระดับมัธยมปลายที่ดุริยางคศิลป์ ม.มหิดล ญาณินีเป็นสมาชิกวง ดุริยางค์เยาวชนสถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา(PYO) ในช่วงฤดูกาลที่2,3และฤดูกาลที่5 ญาณินีเป็นสมาชิกวงSalaya Chamber Orchestra ในช่วงปี 2558 ได้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน Princess Galyani Vadhana International Ensemble Competition [String] ในกลุ่มประเภท A และได้ชนะเลิศในปีนั้น ญาณินีเข้ารับ การศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีอยู่ที่สถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา

ปี2559ญาณินีได้เข้ามาสเตอร์คลาสกับ Prof.Akihiro Miura กับ Prof.Elizabeth Weber. เคยได้รับการคัดเลือกเป็นตัวแทนของสถาบัน ไปเล่นดนตรีร่วมในออเคสตร้าและทําาการแสดงที่ Lübeck Musikhochschule ประเทศเยอรมันนี และในปี2560 ญาณินีได้รับเลือกให้เป็น ส่วนหนึ่งของการแสดงมหรสพสมโภช เนื่องในงานพระราชพิธีถวายพระเพลิงพระบรมศพฯ พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชบรมนาถบพิตร

ญาณินีศึกษาปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่สองโดยศึกษาเครื่องเอกกับอาจารย์สิทธิชัย เพ็งเจริญ ปัจจุบันกําาลังศึกษาเครื่องมือเอกกับอาจารย์Margaret Hayne Kimอยู่ระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 4
